It is fair if you can opt for career in oil and gas in MBA as many of the students from B.Tech branches opt for MBA in oil and gas. Apart from all the placements, oil and gas is highest placing branch in our college. As 4-5 days ago one of our students from the same batch got a placement of 19 LPA. So doing MBA from oil and gas department is good enough.

The placement was average. Many of the companies though get the students placed but only those who were typically the cream and students from average score were just able to clear first two rounds but were unable to go through the HR rounds.
Average package given to student was 4.5 lakhs and for the time being many of them has taken up the opportunity. So, overall, it was a good impact.

No, Not any number. There will be many people with the same marks. At that time, in order to get the proper rank, they will use the random number system.
example: let's consider that the top mark of the entrance exam is 98 out of 100 marks and let 97 be the second followed by 96 as 3rd score position and now let's consider that 43 people have secured 98 (first mark) and 88 have secured 97 and 105 secured 96 and now here they will use random number to put the rank. Hence the person with the first mark itself will occupy all the first 25 ranks in case you have secured 97 marks, you will not have a chance.

Anybody cannot become a CEO overnight whether he is an M.Tech, MBA or Ph.D unless he/she is a kid of a rich person who got it due to inheritance. Through job, it's not his qualification rather the achievements in the real business which makes him a CEO. So it doesn't matter whether you are a 10th fail, pass or an MBA to be a CEO. Focus on what you love the most, focus on what you have an aptitude for and work without thinking about the time, resource or any other constraint. That's it.
