There is no minimum percentage as such. Also, different departments and programs have different requirements. You need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
The selection process in B-schools generally consists of :
- Past Academic record.
- Scores in entrance tests.
- Group Discussion.
- Personal Interview.
- Work experience.
Please note that each B-schools shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include
- Written Test (WT).
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Personal Interviews (PI).

No, only institute under Mumbai, Pune and other state universities have such provisions. IIT admissions are done strictly on the basis of JEE and there is no lateral entry scheme available.
