They have 1200+ acres of agricultural land apart from the 600+ acres of campus for agriculture students only. (I). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with a GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years
B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72
M.Sc. Agriculture {Horticulture (Fruit Science)} with GPAP of 3.75
M.Sc. Agriculture (Agronomy) with GPAP of 3.60
M.Sc. Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding) with GPAP of 3.60
Placement: Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more. The maximum package offered for B.Sc. In Agri. At LPU is 19.25 LPA and the average package is 3.4 LPA. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from top-ranked universities all over the world. Gentleman, this is the time when your career will take off. look into your potentiality, wishes, passion, ambition and aim. it is them who will make you decide what you should do. take advice from others but take decision yourself. there are numbers of choices of subjects to pursue but decide what is your choice. if you feel that u love technology go for engineering, if u love biology u may opt for mbbs, b.pharma, biotechnology, pure biology subjects are also there like physiology (study about the systems of human), botany (plants and trees), zoology (animals). u may also opt for physics if u love to know the mechanisms and theories of different objects, phenomenas, later u may move to astrophysics in masters level which is very much in demand, chemistry will let u know about different chemical and chemical reactions. so enterprises are vast. sort out your interest. get a good college and study hard. all the best. thank you.
