Every answer above has captured the essence of bioinformatics in general, so Ill restrict my answer to the differences between the 2 courses in VIT
ACADEMICALLY, Bioinformatics students do not study Embedded Systems, Microprocessors, Graphics and Multimedia, Mobile Computing, 2 math subjects and there are separate courses for Computer Architecture and Organisation and Digital Logic whereas bioinformatics students study it as 1 subject.
The courses that we do have are: Biological Databases, Analytical Bioinformatics, Cell Biology and Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genomics and Proteomics, Molecular Evolution and Phylogeny e.t.c.

BCECE CSIR, etc. These are the entrance exam through which you can get government Agriculture College. BHU UET also offers admission in B.Sc Agriculture. These are the separate entrance exam. Here, there is no need of JEE score card.

What it takes to become a Robotics Engineer? If you want to go ahead and take on the career of a Robotic Engineer then your knowledge should be more than average in Science and mathematics. The basic eligibility for being able to apply for B.Tech in Robotics is that students should have passed his/her class 12 examinations with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) from a recognised state or national level board of education with a minimum of 50% marks. It is better to go for RVCE, Bangalore, but the management quota goes upto INR 35 Lacs and Amity- Noida have reasonable fees, when compared to management quota of RVCE. Hope you got your answer.
