The scope of electrical and electronics engineering is high now and will be far more higher in the future than you can imagine in any other departments. Note that I am telling about the scope and not the demand. There is a hairline difference between scope and demand.
Demand: There will be a demand in all fields of engineering till the world ends because the companies and organisations wants their work to be done in a fast and efficient manner. For that they just want young and enthusiastic minds who can work for hours and yield profit with low salary pay that's why they higher freshers from college and throw them away in 2 or 3 years and higher new people you can note this especially in IT field. This happens in other fields also but since they recruit only less amount of people and sack only very less number of people, we are not aware of it.
