It's totally upon you. If law is your cup of tea then doing graduation before it, is foolish. If you do law after 12th then the course is for 5 years. But after graduation it account for 7 years (4+3).
If you do BA. LLB then you can go for Judicial services, work in a law firm, act as a legal advisor.
If you are planning to pursue law after 12th then go for BA LLB. It'll save your 2 years.
