I would advise you to choose best University on the basis of University ranking, placements, infrastructure, faculty members etc.

BCA gives a student with a solid platform to further his career in the field of technology but it is strongly recommended that a student should opt for MCA to further his prospects in this competitive world. BCA is a good course but it is simply a Bachelors level degree and not much importance is given by both private and government organisations especially when compared to a B.tech course.
IT and Computer Engineers who have completed their B.tech program are not only in great demand in IT industries but in sectors like banks, airlines, and manufacturing industry. India is the main outsourcing hub for international projects from the US or the UK. B.tech students with good academic records may also get hired as research analysts.

Mechanical engineering seems to be one of the most sought after branches in India at the time of admission. This choice is motivated by core Govt. jobs for mechanical engineers, PSU jobs and automobile sector which attracts students and parents alike.
If your interest is in automobiles, I think Chennai/Bangalore/Pune/Gurgaon might be the place to be in currently. Company websites & LinkedIn pages to look into Ashok Leyland, Titan, Hyundai, Tata Motors, BHEL, GE. You should check out Cummins (Pune), Mercedes Benz Research(Bangalore), Tata Research (Bangalore) in case your thrust is in research and will definitely have an immense value in case you plan to apply for graduate study in the future.
