It depends from one organization to another.
There will be an organisation which will look for a minimum percentage required and there will be organisation which will simply not care what percentage you have but the most important factor is you need to excel.in other area like a good CGPA in your IIM score so you can get recruiter of your choice, excellent communication, and projects as an achievement.

Hi, Based on last year's minority admission process, candidates were supposed to submit documents supporting their minority status at the time of signing up for CAP. Additionally, candidates were supposed to call up the college and record their name for further communication. They were then intimated of their interview date which would consist of a presentation. The process should remain the same this year unless notified otherwise. It is advisable to call and check with the college anyway. Hope this helps!

Hello Arshi,
I think you cannot get electronics and communication engineering at SASTRA as it is one of the highly demanded courses at SASTRA which will also be filled at the first go.
So you may try in the counselling but the chances are low.
Maybe in stream 2, you may try for it.

You can get into the 2nd-year of engineering Diploma only if you do your HSC with physics, chemistry and mathematics and you can still take mathematics as an additional subject. Doing Diploma alone doesn't fetch you a good job, in fact, an ITI pass out gets job faster compared to a Diploma holder.

You have good marks in JEE advance and hope that you can make it. Although you seem intelligent and the branch you'll get in GSITS doesn't seem to push your potential, I suggest you to take a drop. Also, try to know yourself, how much load you can resist easily. Either focus on Mains, or Advanced or on both. Here, you have cleared both but it didn't get you a college.
Best of luck.
