Hello Aishwarya,
If you are applying through the cap round to get admission here only HU and OHU factor comes into play.
Most of the colleges have different seat distribution for HU and OHU candidate. But there are some famous and autonomous colleges like Jamnalal Baja, SIMSREE, and Welingkar. They don't follow the HU and OHU pattern, they just distribute their seats as Maharashtra state seats according to the casts seat distribution.

Hello Saketh,
You can join B.Tech via lateral admission directly in the 2nd year in any college of your own state. Else, IITs accept Diploma as equivalent to class 12th and hence you can seek admission there also after following the due process.

You can do Diploma in this field, but I would suggest you compare it with BBA in aviation management which is a highly professional course and then decide what to do.

Yes, you have understood correctly. JEE Advanced is only an entrance exam to determine if you can seek admission or not. But for actually getting admission, one definitely needs to pay prescribed fees for that particular course selected.
