Educational Requirements to pursue music therapy as a career:
Music therapists being musicians as well as therapists, a background in music and love of music is essential. In India, it is an emerging field and graduate or post graduate courses in Music therapy are rare. But Diploma and certificate courses are available. Abroad, becoming a music therapist involves obtaining a Bachelor's degree or higher in music therapy and obtaining certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists.

You can opt for Diploma, certificate, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes to be a part of this budding industry. Basic eligibility for candidates to pursue Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Sun International Institute for Technology and Management, Hyderabad is that the candidate should have passed 10th standard or 10+2 from a recognised board. There is no entrance exam as Compulsory for B.Sc. Chemistry admission. You can get admitted to top institutes through entrance exam but you can join the same degree without entrance exam in some public/private colleges in any state if they offer.

You must at least have 50% in graduation and must have appeared for either of CAT/MAT/CMAT/XTA/GMAT/ATMA to apply for Taxila Business School.
