It is difficult to get into a good b school for mms course. You can try for PDGM courses and give ur best in their GDPI rounds.

Hi,
With 55% marks you should be looking at colleges that consider a Profile based evaluation. Though, many of the colleges set a cut of limit, but still you can try and apply. At Athena School of Management, you as a student are judged on overall scale of Academics, Entrance exam score, extracurricular activities, Communication, Confidence, Personality and Personal Interview. So my advice to you is contact the college for PI rounds and apply. If you have further more queries, feel free to ask.

Your question is incomplete, as you haven't mentioned about the stream of engineering for the placement comparison. It is quite an important factor as the Institute's placement varies according them. However, if BE in Computer Science & Engineering is considered, the comparison can be like
BITS>Manipal University>VIT>UPES>SRM>KIIT.
