Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, located in Meerut, UP was established in 2008. The university is approved by AICTE and its distance education has been approved by Distance Education Bureau of UGC. The college has been accorded grade A by NAAC in 2006. Swami Vivekananda Subharti University offers courses in UG, PG, Diploma and certificate programs in different specializations. Application Process:
The college provides two options for the application process. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can directly apply online or offline.
Eligibility: The minimum eligibility for an UG course is that the candidate should be passed in 10+2 from a recognized university. For a PG course, the candidate should hold a graduation degree/Diploma certificate.Selection Process: Candidates are selected on the basis of merit in qualifying and entrance examination. SNET is Subharti-National Eligibility Test conducted by Swami Vivekananda Subharti University (SVSU). This test has to be given by the students who are looking for admission in non-medical and para-medical courses. The qualification in NEET is required for MBBS & BDS courses.

If you have any other choice, and you really want to become an engineer, so I suggests you go for the other one, but if you don't then HNB is also a good institutions for engineering. It gives you a tag of A Central University and you can complete your engineering in nominal fees as compare to the other institutions. But, faculty is really well and are having friendly atmosphere you don't feel any extra pressure by them they understand the problems, but the problem is in the students. After joining HNB most of students involved in the politics and some other activities, which is not a part of engineering. If someone is really interested in engineering institute provide those facilities and a give a chance to show. Exposure and atmosphere which are very much important in college life is not there. Placement is a word which is hardly heard in the campus. But if you really wants to join we will work for the betterment of the institution and I am in the 2nd year and some of us are planning for the various activities. Hope for the bright future of HNB.

NIT-Rourkela has been ranked at 12th position by NIRF rankings. Chemical Engineering is very good academic wise in NIT Rourkela. Chemical Engineering is one of the oldest branches of NIT Rourkela. It has some of the best faculty members and infrastructure on campus. The department recently underwent a massive renovation and up-gradation providing it with infrastructure and logistics at par with international establishments. Placements are similar to other branches of NIT Rourkela. A lot of students undertake higher studies, in India and abroad, in fields such as Materials, Processing, Nanotechnology, Extraction etc. The faculty of Chemical Engineering department deserve particular praise for churning out students who have regularly been chosen for prestigious international internships such as DAAD - Germany, MITACS Globalink - Canada etc. The Chemical Engineering Department also received the highest accreditation from NAAC which was renewed when NBA visited NIT Rourkela last year.
