Hi,
After B.Tech Mechanical engineering, you have two options :
1) You may opt for M.Tech to study the technical side. For this you should leave your current job after gaining certain work experience and prepare yourself for GATE for pursuing M.Tech from reputed institutes.
OR
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line. You may go for full time MBA program. You may choose executive MBA program. But you should gain certain work experience before doing MBA because almost all the reputed B-schools give importance to candidates' work experience.
You have another option with you, i.e., you may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with M.Tech or MBA.
In a nutshell, opt for a course based on your interest and skills. Think and decide wisely where do you wish to see yourself in future.
