Yes, you can appear for the IIT JAM exam in the final year of your Bachelor's degree or after completing it. For applying in a reputed IIT or NIT for M.Sc. In Information Technology, you need to score well in the exam. This year IIT Kanpur will start the IIT JAM Counselling from April 2020 and aspirants who will qualify the cut-off marks in IIT JAM Exam and will be featured in the merit list can take admission in various M.Sc. However, If you are not able to clear the cut-off for IITs, then also you can fill the CCMN 2020 application form. The CCMN (Centralized Counselling for M.Sc. & M.Sc. Programmes for 22 NIT's and the score is valid for many other colleges like IISER's.
