You have already been replied about a variety of career options available after 12th but I know how confusing it is to select one field that's why I would like to give my suggestion on that. I think one should seriously consider current market forces and industry trends before choosing a career field as this is what matters in the end of completion of a course. I feel hospitality and tourism sector has huge potential considering the fact that the Prime Minister himself is stressing on tourism in and out of the country. Therefore, I would definitely advise you to make your career in this field if you find it interesting. Gain maximum sk

Go for NICMAR, I am a civil engineer and I know the status of NICMAR. Great place for becoming a manager with 100% placement. The recruiters with NICMAR are world-class. An MS is good only if you want to opt a career in design or research or teaching. A Construction Management degree is always useful for those who seek career on sites.

Hi Jennie,
Normally in order to enroll for a degree programme at the under-graduate level, the minimum eligibility criteria is that you need to have passed your 10+2. For diploma programmes the eligibility is more relaxed, however for most you need to still have passed your 10th class exams. Our suggestion to you would be to enroll for the Bachelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). This is a 6 month programme and is meant for those students who wish to do Bachelor's Degree but do not have the essential qualifications of having passed 10+2. The programme enables students such as

Mittu, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is reg

Hi,
Although interlinked, CS and finance two both are different field. Industry has high demand for a CA + CS qualification or a ICWA (CMA) + CS qualification. You may pursue this combination as many times, companies do not want to hire two different person as a company secretary and a finance person. In the long run of career also, it helps a lot.
Any other combination is not a viable option.
