To add more, based on your prior education background of ECE, I would say that you can opt for certifications in the domain of Networking like CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), or you may opt for JAVA, J2EE, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems and Industrial Automation, etc. Even SAP or Oracle will be a great idea.
All the above would certainly enhance your knowledge and aptitude as well as get you a bright future. And with additional certifications in the kitty, one can definitely expect both good designation and salary graph as well.

Hi Mukesh, As a B.Tech, you have an option of opting for higher studies either in the same field or in field of management. Getting jobs as a fresher may not be that difficult but the chances of growing ahead in your career could be an issue. With a masters degree you qualify to get a good job ( purely based on your performance and knowledge ) with high chances of getting in to a middle management profile.
A masters course will come at an investment of both time & money but if done with dedication, the rate of return on investment will definitely be good.
