CBI stands for the Central Bureau of Investigation. That is the central governing body that investigates the Scams related to all fields.
Eligibility:
The minimum eligibility to join CBI in the assistant grade is a Bachelors degree from a recognised university.
Age:
The minimum eligible age, to write combined graduate level examination, is 20 years wheras, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Height:
Height: 165 cms
Chest: 76 cms. with expansion
Procedure to join:
To join the CBI department, you will need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the Staff selection commission every year.
Examination structure:
The examination comprises of two papers.
1. General intelligence & awareness
2. Arithmatic
The preliminary exam is is followed by the Main exam.
The Main exam comprise of
English language,
Comprehension,
Communication skill and writing ability ,
Arithmetic and General studies.
To join in CBI officer You need to crack CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam). This exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Committe).
TO become an CBI Officer you have to pass Bachelor degree course in any stream from recognized university.
Your age should be in between 20 to 27 years. The upper age relaxation applicable this exam. 5 years age relaxation for sc/st candidates and 3 years for obc candidates.
GENDER:
Both male and female eligible to become am CBI officer but you should be citizen of india.

Openings are available at various levels, from Bank Clerical to Probationary Officers.Although you are not interested in CA but we would like to say that CA is a very reputed course with great prospects. A career in CA is much sought after because they possess the knowledge of identifying risks and designing control mechanism to counter those risks. There are opportunities in corporate houses, private or public organizations, starting his/her business.
