Dear Aashima, both are research oriented. Also, doing a MS does not necessarily mean you will have to get into research, you may get into developing or designing jobs . It is your choice. However the subjects you mentioned do not have much difference and are research oriented mostly. I will also suggest you go through the program curriculum of the universities you wish to apply to, you will have a better understanding of the various subjects they offer and the differences as well. Good Luck!

Congratulations, Glad to hear this that you got selected for IBS Mumbai. I can understand its not easy to take loan and repay it on installment basis that too along with interest after the completion of education and getting a job. It depends upon your caliber and your level of comfort with self learning. If you are the kind of person who just needs a little guidance and can do wonders with it, then take the distance learning program. If you think you need constant attention, push, and someone to explain things to you, then take regular coaching. However, coaching has lesser role to play in your success than your own. Ultimately what will matter will be your practice, your understanding, confidence and stress management.

Hi Aashima, the best way is by looking at the program curriculum of the universities and program output. Universities have all these information available on the websites. Read the subjects taught in these courses and look for the career outcomes. There are also certain courses which are thesis based and non-thesis based, you must find this yourself by going through the websites. If you are not interested in research you may opt for non-thesis option. I will also advice you to connect with admission counselors of the universities, send them an email along with your profile and career plans they will suggest you the best course. Hope th

Hi Anu!
If your son takes up CA, it is preferable to go for B.Com degree as both are finance based and have many subjects in common. B.Com with accounts honors is a better option.
Thank you!
