The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for MBBS as per Medical Counsil of India (MCI) rules is that the student should secure minimum 50% marks in the PCB group in 12th (10+2) and 40% for reserve category students. This makes you eligible, but does not guarantee admission due to the huge number of aspirants (30 lakhs) and very small number of Medical seats all over India (about 30 thousand)
