Its going to be tough even though you are in the same IT stream.Now why its going to be tough ? See i am also a student of Bsc.IT (mumbai) appeared for 6th semester and doing Java course from NIIT.In NIIT i met students who were doing the GNIIT course and when i interacted with them they told that they were thought C# very early and in Bsc.IT (mumbai) C# is in the 6th semester i.e. very late.so what happens is that you have to study the subjects of BscIT + subjects of GNIIT and you know that GNIIT and Bsc.IT subjects can be different.Ya there will be subjects which will be same but not at the same time .an example of c# is given above .so what happens is that you have to study a lot of subjects at the same time.therefore it is tough.I am not trying to make you afraid.All that you have to do is to make a proper time-table.and you haven't mentioned your university ? Anyways you have to do hard work.it is possible to manage.utimately Bsc.IT + GNIIT is superb.
