Yes of course. Private colleges offer great placements and infrastructure. There faculty are also good which will help you to crack competitive exam. But remember only a good pvt college and you should check the placement records before taking admission.

You should at least decide the course you want pursue but till then you can prepare for exams like IELTS TOEFEL and GRE which are basically English language exams which are mandatory to clear for studying abroad.
