Hi,
No, according to JoSSA policies, if you are not having 75% or more than 75% then you are not eligible. Either, you have topped JEE Mains/Advanced.
Only one thing can happen in your account, if you are in the top 20 percentile of your board (less than 75%) then only you are eligible for a seat.

Hello Ranjita,
The minimum percentage in 12th board exams is 75% for general category and 65% for SC, ST and PWD candidates. You need to secure the above percentage or should be in the top 20 percentile students from your board means you should be in the top 20% of students from your WB board.

VIT has better placement record than the other colleges mentioned. If you are looking for placements then VIT is the right place for you to pursue CSE or IT branch.

No, Commercial Pilot Training has got no connection with B.Sc Aviation. Both of them are very different.
CPL is a professional Training and B.Sc Aviation is a graduation degree course.

NIT Jamshedpur began offering the B.Tech (Hons.) degree programme in the academic year 2010-2011. The specific regulations governing the B.Tech (Hons.) program, including its implementation and evaluation, became effective from that year.

Hi Alisha.
Yes, you can and you should.
Most of the people do it simultaneously, thereby saving precious 3 years.
The strain might be a bit high in doing both together.
But then rewards are high too.
CS a professional course and B.Com, graduation; both can be completed simultaneously.
All the best.
Feel free to revert.

Hi Shivam,
In the present days, Shipping Industry is going under recession & in a global industry such as merchant navy , it is imperative for one to consider various factors prior to embarking on a journey at sea. While there are numerous institutions providing education in this sector , quite a few things are important to consider beyond placements. A wider approach can lead you through a long term career trajectory, rather than thinking about immediate future which might create hurdles after a few years. So,considering all such factors I would rank these colleges as -:
Tolani Maritime Institute, Pune
IMU Campus, Vishakhapatnam
IMU Campus
...more

Mechatronics is a relatively new field. It is being offered at a lesser number of colleges. This ensures that the number of graduates passing out of colleges each year is not too high. Thus, it is safe to say that job market saturation level is not that high, in the case of mechatronics field! Also, it is one of the fastest developing fields, with new areas of applications and job opportunities being introduced quickly.

Hello Nelson,
With a cut-off score of 186.5, it is difficult to get a good or top ranking college being a BC category student. You can get some colleges like Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Panimalar, etc.
So, if you could suggest any college of your choice then I may tell whether you can get that or not.
This year, EEE seats are getting filled faster so it is difficult to get a good college.
For previous year's cut-off marks refer: www.cutoff.tnea.ac.in
