You should allow your son to complete his 11th and 12th in India and then look for study abroad options because a minimum of 12 years education is required. In the meantime check Shiksha's study abroad section.

In order to get admission candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
1) 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university or board.
2) In some colleges or institutes candidates will be preferred who have opted mathematics at 10+2 level.
Selection will be done on the basis of cut off merit list prepared by the colleges but in some colleges there can be entrance examination also depending upon the policies of the institution or college.
