Fashion Design has now become an established career option in India, thanks to the various NIFTs and other Institutes that offer this undergraduate degree. The UGC NET and CSIR NET are two different exams, which are conducted for different exams. The candidates who have completed the post-graduation degree can make a career of assistant professor posts in universities or colleges, to pursue Ph.D. and for JRF Awards. The CSIR NET exam is conducted for the Science stream subjects that is physical Science, Chemical Science, mathematical Science, life Science, Earth Science. The candidates are allowed to apply for the post-graduation degree subjects or its related subjects only.
