For General/SC/ST/PH/OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates:
On the basis of Written test, Group Discussion and Interview.
The Written Test is organised at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.
Based on marks obtained in the written test, candidates are called for Group Discussion and Interview to be held between fourth week of January and middle of February at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

As you are very much interested in Application Software Development(Specialiiy PDA), they runs on 2 technologies.
1. Windows Based (SIS and EXE based)
2. Java Based
So you need to learn those subjects.
Especialiiy concentrate on Java as it can be work with all the mobiles.
For Java, you need to learn J2ME and Midlet Programming.
On other part, with MCA you wont be teach with Programming skills, that you need to implement with yourself.

Although the tuition fees are borne by the German Federal States, you should have enough funds to cover your cost of living for the entire duration of your study. You should estimate with monthly expenses of no less than EUR 650.

Well the eligibility for MCA may vary from one institute to another, but most commonly it is to be a graduate degree from a recognized University preferably in the similar field. Also one should have had Maths in +2 level so to be able to pursue MCA through the regular mode.
