Abhinav,
To get admission in S.P Jain you need to get at least 85 percentile in CAT. You should study hard for this. Try and give other entrance exam too like:
1. MAT.
2. SNAP.
3. XAT, etc.
All the best.

You have a good CAT score. Your academic profile is average considering your low 12th marks. But it seems that your CAT score, graduation marks and 10th marks should help your candidature. Considering this, there is a decent chance for you to get a call.

No, don't take such decisions. Preparations depends on you not on the college. You are the one who is going to face the future. Get prepared instead of changing college. Its okay sometimes, we fall into pits. Try to overcome them and backlogs may not completely affect placements. Write supplementary and from now avoid backlogs.

You can either pursue a MBA in Energy management or pursue M.Tech followed by a P.hD in renewable energy.
Since, renewable energy is a new field, I am not sure if a correspondence MBA program with that specialization available in India
Internationally a lot of options are available in the said area.

Well, it's important to understand that you have a professional degree and gives you entry in the job market. My recommendation is that if you have got a job then you should take it and think of a Master's degree at a later stage.
Remember here you have to choose between getting experience vs higher degree. In the long run after completing your master's degree you may not make more money to start with. But then it's a personal choice.

So you need to decide, whether it is the industry that you wish to change or the profile, i.e. marketing, that you want to change.
