1. Multimedia -The use of variety of artistic or communicative media and this includes text, graphic, audio, video, etc.
2. Animation: Making imaginary character or a product and putting life in it. This word animation is basically made from Greek or Latin words ani (Means object or thing) and motion (Means movement). In short, making objects and things into motion. It includes 2D animation, 3D animation and VFX (Visual Effects).
3. Graphic design: Graphic design is the foundation of every kind of design. It includes print design, graphic, web, etc. A graphic designer can be a web designer, a graphic designer can become an UX designer or print designer as well. It includes movie character, icons, cartoons, textures, backgrounds, logos, business cards, flyers, brochures and many more.
4. Web design: This includes designing websites.
5. VFX (Visual effects): Visual effects (Abbreviated VFX) are the processes by which imagery things are created and/or manipulated outside the context of a live action shot. In VFX, we animate live things or you can say live characters. We put live things to motion.
6. Gaming: It belongs to game development industry. It includes motion gaming. Every type of game design comes in this category. It includes game programming as well as design or development in simple words.

While Mass communication deals with the procedure of conveying or transmitting a message to the general population through media like radio, newspapers, magazines, television, the internet, and so on. However, journalism is concerned with the compilation and transmission of news through the print media and electronic media. And based on the different mediums, the field of journalism can be divided into three broad categories namely the print (I. e. the newspapers and magazines), electronic (I. e. T. V. and radio), and online journalism. So based on your interests you could even choose for a course-specific to one of these mediums. As for mass communication, there are media fields such as that of theater, radio, T. V. , filmmaking, journalism, advertising, public relations, and others. In short mass communication covers a broad area of media while journalism focuses only on news. One can have a degree in journalism and mass communication from a good college and can enter this profession.
