Hey Gowtham,
If you have done or going to do B.Tech(Mech) than you should be going with M.Tech as it will give you more opportunities than M.Sc. Also M.Tech is considered to be more job oriented than M.Sc. After M.Tech you can choose teaching profile, corporate profile or even research work. So in my opinion M.Tech will be a better option. Suggesting some universities -

The difference between M. Sc and M Tech is same as the difference between B.Sc and B Tech
M. Sc is a master course, which is next form of B.Sc. It's not as expensive as M Tech, and most of the colleges don't have any entrance exam for this. Just like B. Sc, if you do well in your graduation and score more than 60%, you can easily study M. Sc
Whereas in M Tech, it's a tougher course. It's of 2 years duration and its of more value than M. Sc. It's a much more expensive than M.Sc also.

Hello dear, b.e and b.tech are the same professional degree course having two different name in different universities and institutes. Judge on the basis of the reputation of the college not by the nomenclature of the degree. Wish u a good career. Thank you.
