Although, IBS Bangalore is a decent institute but, it is not recognized by any education body like AICTE or UGC. I would suggest you to visit the Institute personally and check on few of the important factors such as: : First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.

Hi Nitin,
First of all you need to decide whether you want to go for a full time MBA programme or part time or correspondence. Once you have decided that then depending on the study mode the procedure will vary. If you plan to go for a full time MBA which is the most advisable path then you have to have 50% and above aggregate marks from a recognized University and you need to clear various entrance examinations like CAT, MAT etc. Even for part time programme of most of the good Universities like, FMS, Welingkar etc. same procedure will follow.
On the other hand if you plan for Distance education you can go straightaway apply to the institutes.
