The beginners in the initial stage can earn between Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month.
Radio Jockeys are in much demand with the opening of the air waves to the private sector.
After a few years of experience, the earnings can be raised double and depending on the popularity of their shows, RJ's can earn between Rs 16,000 up to Rs 95,000 per month.
As a radio jockey, besides getting contractual good money you earn by doing Ad commercials. You can earn more by doing voice-overs for television and radio advertisements.
RJ's can earn Rs 1,500-3,000 per hour by doing shows for the Indian diaspora on foreign radio. Another well-paid and upcoming option is radio broadcasting on the Net, which could earn you between Rs 40,000 to 60,000 per month.
The salary of radio jockeys are divided according to cities. In India, city category divided into three parts - Tier 1 , Tier 2 and Tier 3.
Tier 1 cities RJ salary is 45 k and up
Tier 2 cities RJ salary is 20 k to 45 k
Tier 3 cities RJ salary is 7 k to 20 k

There are number of posts available in the Indian Navy, for which, even 12th Science stream passed students are eligible to apply for.
There are various divisions and specializations in case of Executive Officers. They are- Logistics Officer, General Service Officer, Information Technology Officer, Law Officer, Submarine Officer, Diving Officer, Pilot Officer, Provost Officer, Hydrographic Officer and Naval Armament Inspection Officer.
These Officer job posts fall under the category of Executive Officers. These posts ensures the smooth functioning of the Indian Navy and takes care of various General Duty as well as specialized tasks.
Now, 12th Science stream passed students are also eligible to apply for these posts. They have two methods for applying- NDA (National Defence Academy) Entry and Indian Naval Academy Entry. Both entry procedures are held and managed by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).
