STEM programs have a unique advantage over non-STEM programs in that they allow the student to extend their first 12 months of OPT to work for an additional 24 (or 29? Sorry unsure here) months. During this OPT period of 3 years in total, you have an advantage of filing for a H1B visa 3 times in total until you get one.
MBA in the US is a non-STEM degree and would require you to find an employer that files a H1B petition in your 12

It is difficult to answer your query since there are thousands of colleges across India. However, I would counsel that other than IIT's and NIT's almost all Govt. colleges may be considered at same pedestal. There are of course some very good private colleges like BITS, SRM, Manipal, LPU, etc.

So if you don't get KTR campus then opt for SRM Ramapuram.
The fee structure at SRM KTR is obviously higher than SRM Ramapuram but it will be better to study at main campus.
Choose Ramapuram if you don't get KTR or if you cannot pay the higher fee.
All the best!
