Diploma after class 10th is not a bad option, but to be honest is turning out to be tough and competitive in all the long run of IT jobs and I have come across most of the incidents where people land up going for an option of lateral entry B.Tech after completing their diplomas to fetch job opportunities for themselves. But, it is not like chances do not exist with Diploma at all, there are some chances, but the better and best ones are with degree.
