Dear it is not possible at 57 marks of JEE to get into any NIT even in OBC category, rather you can try some other good institute but you have limited time to take admission.make a list of good colleges as Delhi College of Engineering, IIIT, College of Engineering Pune, Lovely professional University.

Dear Deven, first of all i want to tell you that B.Tech in distance is not valid. Do confirm that it should be affiliated by AICTE. I recommend you to join B.Tech lateral entry in regular mode from some reputed institute as Ip uni, College of engineering delhi, College of engineering pune, Lovely Professional University.

On the basis of ur category rank there are certain chances of getting admission in certain n NIT's. u should regularly visit the official site of JEE and JOSSA and keep in touch. Otherwise can also get admission on the basis of 12th in certain private colleges like Lovely Professional University, VIT, Pune, Galgotia Noida.

No IT engineering is not offered by IIT's. There is hardly any big difference between IT and CSE. if u are getting seat in CSE then go ahead.
Other then IIT you can prefer.NITs, BITs, Lovely professional university, COEP.

Dear, I think u have mentioned your marks wrongly. how u can get 417 marks, paper is of 100 marks.
It is hard to predict whether u will get NIT or not as it depends upon number of applications and merit list. if you score more than 40 you can try your luck.
Other then this you may also try in VJIT, PEC, Lovely Professional University
