In India, R&D is always on the lower side. And hence, we almost never see anything great happening in the field of electronics (or for that matter, Technology). And hence most of the electronics graduates waste their time doing something else. If you seriously want to do something worth, please look beyond India. And, as soon as you finish your B.Tech, get into MS + Ph.D. courses. And, chances are very high that you will end up doing something meaningful in electronics.

For getting CSE in a good college, your rank should be under the requirements. If you are taking admission in a private college, then definitely you can get CSE on the basis of your money. Good luck.

Hi Pranav,
As you have not mentioned you category, I will give my answer according to general category. Actually, it is very difficult to get an admission in mechanical engineering in VIT Pune with this score. Because, the cut off goes very high every year for this branch. Still you can fill the form and try.
All the Best.

Hi Nilaksh,
It is true, salaries of MBA graduates, normally depend not on the ranking of the college but majorly on the student's calibre. While MBA packages normally start out at Rs 3 LPA there is always a chance of it rising, depending on the student's skills and performance.

All you have to do is manage your time likewise. You should maintain a balance between both of them. Pay proper attention to the course curriculum in the college and invest rest of the time in the IAS preparations. If you are taking coaching for that, then it might be more difficult because of the timings. Try if you can adjust without them or try to get into weekend courses. This might be exhausting times of your life, but believe me, the result will be as good.

It's not possible really to zero in on anyone. Okay here we go, in no particular order:
Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi), Indraprastha College for Women (Delhi), Daulat Ram College for Women (Delhi), Jesus & Mary College for Women (Delhi), St. Xavier's College (Mumbai), Jai Hind College (Mumbai), Mithibai College (Mumbai), Fergusson College (Pune) & Women's Christian College (Chennai). There are many others out there I'm sure, but these are the colleges I have had friends from who vouch for their excellence, besides these being ranked highly. Of those mentioned, the colleges in Delhi University provide B.A. Honours course in Psychology and
