Well firstly, M.A. in Economics in itself seems a heavy program and carries a lot of value to bring on the bright career aspects, yet as you are keen to pursue some short term programs, you can look for courses in sections like finance, Insurance and actuaries, CFA etc. which will further help you to develop a better career. However later after gaining some concrete work experience, you can then opt for the M.Phil/ PhD programs.
