HI Zahoor,
To pursue PhD you need to first prepare your research proposal and send it to the university. The research proposal must include a summary of the proposal and then the proposal in detail. You need to write the topic, reason for doing research, how the research will be beneficial to the community and the university, what is the different thing you are doing that hasn't been undertaken earlier. Also, include how you will progress during the research and the duration you might need to achieve the milestones you have set. Hi Aloke,
NCFM are the certified modules offered by NSE but for those who are keen to pursue a career in Financial markets. As an IT graduate, although there is less relevance between your background and your preference, however there is no constraint under which you can not opt for these modules.
If you are looking out for transition in your career, then this seems as a good career option. However, with already 6 years experience, I think you can look for the course like a MBA program or a further Masters degree depending on the degree you had in your graduate studies.
All the Best!

Prashant. As everyone has mentioned, both Strathclyde and Glasgow have a very good reputation. I have a question just out of curiosity. Why did you choose MSc Management when the business schools in both universities offer far better postgraduate courses that could lead to you a good career? For example, Banking, Finance. Accounting and Economics related courses.

there are many specialization in mba but i will suggest you MBA in general management. the benefit of general mba is that you can select two optional subjects (from heathcare manag, marketting, finance, HR, etc etc depends on college how many course they provide) also by general mba you can do job in any of the among sectors.means their will not be subject restriction.
