The ways things are now, it is better to gain some experience (relevant) then go for an MBA because MBA colleges are giving weightage to work exp. and academics. So considering that you call yourself an avg., your academics must also be avg. Now, the only thing in your hand is work ex. Try to make it work as much as possible. Then score some good marks in CAT, XAT, SNAP, etc. You will have a realistic chance of getting into a top B.School.

Unfortunately, as of now, BBA graduates are not elligible for admission to M.Mgmt at SJMSOM as one needs to have a minimum of 4 years graduate degree to enroll/apply.

If you are looking for a business related course then yes, BBA graduates are eligible for that. After BBA you can get into MBA or MMS or PGDM course in a top B-School of India.

Hello Mridul,
I am assuming that you are talking about the syllabus of MAT & SSC. Then not really, they are not same. Only a couple of chapters in Quant. mostly Arithmetic chapters are same. Moreover, the questions of Arithmetic are also quite different in both exams.
I will not talk about the level of difficulty, since it differs for every person.
Find some previous year question papers of both SSC & MAT then compare.
