You have to complete BTech first, do not be desperate. After this degree you opt for specialised short term courses like process equipment design, project management and engineering or PLC/DCS/SCADA based training for better job opprtunities.

Alok,
I want to say that think again, if you can get the B-Tech in 3 years with the same value of 4 years why are you opting for 4 years which is a year saved. And lateral entry is made coz the things you studied in diploma will be repeated in the 1st year b.tech so no use in having the first year. So i preferance go for lateral entry itself.
