It is certainly good, but I won't call it the best. JMI is far better than Amity University. But, it still is a good institute. Placement wise, the institute has provided packages around 6LPA. But, the minimum changes every year. It was around INR 2 LPA last time. Or probably less.

Hello,
B.Tech in EC is a good option in today's requirement and there are good placements in industry. But companies only take students who have extra skills along with degree. They don't just take a degree holder. So do extra courses and job will be in your hand. Best of luck.

The admission process is currently going on, and it's till August last I guess. But, the main question is why you want to take admission in IGNOU? I am a BCA student of IGNOU and honestly speaking don't pursue any course from IGNOU. There is no one to teach you and the main thing is the exams will make you cry and you will regret later. Better to go for other institutes. If you want to do something good go for others and it gives the degree of correspondence which the Top companies don't even look at your CV.

Hi, Of course, you can!
But it just cannot be a wild dream that I want to pursue CFA. Coming from an Engineering background, your first hurdle would be with accounting. The kind of preparation you need is going to be extensive, plus crossing CFA level 1 will not make you an overnight hit. Level 2 and above gets you the real respect. Let me break it down point by point -
Accounting background -
It is a need along with mastering other concepts from Finance and Economics. Just because you are good with maths and have an analytical side does not mean you will sail through. It is going to be challenging. You need to be dedicated, focused, join

Each university decides upon its own course content, but as a general rule, a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science will include more science (ecology, chemistry, biology, mathematics, etc.), while a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies or Environmental Management may be more interdisciplinary and cover less science but more policy and social science content (cultural studies, economics, athropology, policy development, etc.).
