Yes, you can give LEET exam, but you don't need to give it. Because, it's for admission in 2nd year, as you are in first year and you will automatically go to 2nd year next year.

Normally, international students will not be allowed to do certificate programs. If you do two year study in Canada, you will be allowed to stay back for three years. If you do one year programme, you will be allowed to stay back for one year only. During this period, you should get a relevant job and then get two year of work permit. And after that, you can apply for PR.
