Admissions Criteria
1) What is the criteria for admission to the ISB Post Graduate Programme?
The eligibility criteria are
Students must possess an undergraduate/graduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline
A minimum of two years' full-time post qualification work experience is preferred. Exceptional candidates with lesser experience will be considered for deferred admission.
A GMAT score
TOEFL/IELTS score is required for students from countries other than India, where English is not the primary language of instruction
All short-listed applicants will be interviewed as a part of the selection process
Get all your academic and work experience papers in place and have them scanned and uploaded at one go. This would ensure that you dont miss out on any document. Any additional qualifications and certifications can also be uploaded.
Writing essays would require significant time and effort. To write a good essay requires that you spend a considerable time thinking about what you want to cover in each essay. As a first step put down all the points you would like covered, then order the points in a logical sequence then elaborate each point into a well structured essay. It is always a good idea to first write the essay.

Before giving away any core details, it is important for others who wish to guide you to know about two things, Firstly the stream that you have studied in 12th and secondly, what kind of course you wish to pursue in specific as health and beauty are two diiferent streams and the requiremnents in most of the courses may require Biology as a stream.
When talking about Health, it is mostly medicine, pharma that comes under this category and for which having studied Biology in 12th is utmost important, and on the other side in case of Beauty, this can be further classified. One of which comes under medicine like Cosmetology, Aesthetic surgeries and others could be related to the polytechnic courses.
But for most of the courses you will require Biology, and to be able to provide more information, I would request you to confirm your qualification first.

From August 1 this year, Graduate Record Examination (GRE), conducted by the Educational Testing Services (ETS) for admission into MS programmes mainly in the US and other English speaking countries, will witness a change.
The change will be applicable in verbal ability section, with less importance on non-contextual vocabulary.In the new format the verbal part is being divided into two sections. As per the new GRE Format Changes, all the students writing the test between August 1 and September 30 2011, can enjoy a discount of 50 per cent on the fees. The new scoring pattern will based on a total marks of 340 (170+170) contrary to the old system where it was 1600 (800+800). The band will also range from 130- 170, instead of 200-800. The analytical writing scores will remain on the same 0 - 6 score level, in half-point increments.

Applicants to the Master’s program must have completed a four-year baccalaureate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or other related Engineering or Applied Science field, from a recognized institution. For the MASc program, applicants must have a minimum B+ average or equivalent in the last two years of study and a demonstrated capacity to succeed in the graduate program. For the MEng program, applicants must have a minimum of a B average or equivalent in the last two years of study and demonstrated capacity to succeed in the graduate program. Two letters of reference are required, at least one of which must be from a former professor.

In order to pursue MS from Canada, you need to have:
16 years of education with good academic record throughout preferably 60% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
GRE score 1100 plus.GRE is the exam which need to be taken by all the international students who wish to pursue MS in US or Canada.
IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.IELTS is the exam which need to be taken by all the international students whose first or native language is not English.
Universities in Canada have 2 admission intake in a year, namely:
Fall(August)
Spring(January)
So first of all you need to decide in which intake you want admission and accordingly you can start your application process at least 6-7 months in advance of your planned admission intake.
Average fees at Canadian universities is around CA$ 20,000 per year.
