A candidate who has either secured or is likely to secure a first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or a first class Master's degree in Science (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor's level) or a first class Master's degree in Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor's level) is eligible for admission. Selection will be based on application rating, performance in CAT for domestic students and GMAT for international students, and candidate's performance in group discussion and personal interview. Post-qualification work experience in industrial organizations will be given due consideration. The School follows Government of India norms regarding eligibility and reservation of seats for qualified Scheduled Caste/Tribe candidates, Other Backward Classes and Persons with Disability.
For prrograms in rural development, it is better to go for XIMB or IRMA.

The common age limit criteria for AIPMT exam is as follows.
He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.
The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination.
Relaxation of upper age limit of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
12th should be passed or appearing for 12th exams in 2011 with physics,chemistry,biology and english as the subjects.
Should have atleast 50% of marks in PCB for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
You can appear for the AIPMT for a maximum of 3 times.

Hi Saurabh, as you are interested in pursuing MCA, I would say that for admission in the course in various institutes under the University of Pune an entrance exam is conducted. This entrance exam is called as Pune University MCA Entrance Exam.
The exam structure contains multiple choice questions in the form of objective type. The questions will be from :
-Mathematics (10+2)level:- 100 Questions
-Computer Awareness:- 40 Questions
-Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning :- 40 Questions
-General Awareness:- 20 Questions
to check the candidate's caliber.
