This is a question, most of the students have and the answer is quite undebatable. The first name that comes to our minds for engineering is definitely IITs followed by NITs and IIITs. Amongst the IITs, it would be quite unfair to rank up colleges in order.
But definitely the old IITs namely IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur stand out as the clear top 5. The faculties in any of these IITs are quite experienced, reputed and no doubt the best to be trained with. Coming to the NITs, the four south NITs namely NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut and NIT Surathkal along with NIT Allahabad are considered to be the best for Computer Engineering.

Germany has many outstanding schools for automotive design. However, four schools with representative automotive design programs are Hochschule Esslingen and Hochschule Pforzheim, both near Stuttgart; Westsächsiche Hochschule Zwickau, near Leipzig; and RWTH-Aachen University, near Cologne. They are commonly referred to as Esslingen, Pforzheim, Zwickau and Aachen.
Also, Umea Institute of Design (Sweden) has Masters in Transportation Design.

You can refer to some University ranking charts such as QS or Times Higher Education for the best universities in Agriculture. Narrow down your choices based on your budget, the university fee structure, location of the university (climate, distance, etc. if you would be comfortable), University's admission requirement and if you meet those.
Choose the course best fitted to your profile. Communicate or write to the department staff for details, this will increase your personal interaction with them which is a plus point. Some of the best universities include:
1. University of Reading.
2. China Agricultural University.
3. Norwegian University of Life Sciences and
4. Kyoto University among others.

It is difficult to predict cutoff so early as every year it changes based on the pattern of results. But most of the SSN government quota seats get filled on day 1 of counselling session. Your rank should be of really higher order to get through government quota. For management quota, few seats will be filled based on TANCET scores. For this cutoff should be normalized score > 35 along with strong academic record. The application form is available on the website www.ssn.edu.in and read instructions given in page no. 3 and 4 of the downloaded application form.
SSN does not have differential fee structure for government quota and management quota. Hence you are advised to apply to management quota if you have good scores. For more details, please write to mba.admissions@ssn.edu.in
