If you want to build a career in animation, you can go for a degree like B.Sc or B.Des in Animation and VFX. These courses cover 2D, 3D, VFX, editing, and all the skills you need for the industry.
For the institute, AAFT is a very good option. Their classes are practical, teachers guide you properly, and the campus has good labs and updated software. If you are serious about animation, AAFT is one of the best places to study.

It is not a bad option. Social sciences, business, law, and accounting, engineering, humanities and education are supposedly the most popular courses in Japan. Also, Japan is one of the world's most developed countries in terms of technology so not a bad option after all. However, challenges would be the admission process and knowledge of Japanese language.

No, this college doesn't provide lateral entry. You can give exam of LEET conducted by each state every year for example in Uttarakhand exam name is UKSEE & same there is one exam in Uttar Pradesh & in Delhi region Indraprasth university conduct every year.
