Hi,
If you want to pursue a career as an auditor you can either go for certifications like CA, CWA or CPA etc. or you can go for Masters in Finance & Accounting, M.Com or MBA with Finance as a specialization. The Institutes which you can consider are ICWA & ICAI etc. they must be having branches in Kolkata, you can also check auditing courses in the Institute of Internal Auditors with Kolkata branch.

Income Tax Officer Exam is conducted by SSC to recruit the Income Tax Officer.

most of the big companies prefer last year or current graduated as a fresher. but now its about 3 years ago in your case.but this is not the end.
even still there are many companies, specially medium/small size where you can try.

No, a BCOM course be it a regular course or a correspondence course or a distance learning course has to be completed in 3 years. it cannot be completed in 1 or 2 years.
