YES!!! he will be, and he will get an exam result stating he is absent for all exams,
But he can give his exams again and can clear exams with good marks and he will get a fresh mark sheet and will not be called as a repeater.

As you could not take the various management entrance test, it would be advisable for you to prepare and appear for these test in the next attempt.
In order to pursue MBA from India, you need to have:
Good academic record, preferably 50% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree form recognized university.
Plus you need to appear in various management entrance tests like: CAT, MAT etc.
