As MAT exam validity is of one year, so you have to appear for the exam. You should get a high score in MAT and CAT o get a good college with secured job profile.

Unfortunately, you can not join as a Commissioned Officer in IAF after 10+2 without appearing for NDA. You can join IAF after graduation degree. Hi Bapan,
In Kolkata, it is tough to find a college having fee within 4.5 lakhs as a decent college rather that Calcutta University, You can check Gnanamani College of Technology, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu if you have 55% in graduation and a decent CAT /CMAT score (course fee is 1.6L). But kindly check whether it include the internship cost in this fee structure. It provides healthy job opportunities in terms of its ROI. CAT exam can only be given in English medium and you should have 50% in graduation till your final year of graduation to appear for CAT exam. Same is the eligibility criteria that you have to maintain as the eligibility for a top B-School.

A student cannot appear for improvement exam, if anyone have compartment in that particular subject. One should have Minimum marks of passing as per the particular state board regulations, than he/ she can sit for improvement exam.
