In order to secure admission in any of the good institutes, applicant should satisfy certain criteria’s. These vary based on the course applied for and also institute in which the candidate has applied for. This will include both the general criteria’s and academic criteria’s.
Academic Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Course
The candidate should have completed his 12th standard or higher secondary education. Also both Physics and Chemistry should be amongst the science subjects studied. The candidate should have studied Mathematics too as a subject.
The candidates are required for various entrance exams to secure admission. In many of the entrance exam it is a must that the candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in the above subjects. This varies from exam to exam.

Dear Surendran,
The 3 years course on animation is surely a complete package , which covers up all the domain in animation also covering the 3 major segments of animation , preproduction , production and post production .
Normally in my experience what i have noticed is , maximum of the students , after completion of their course end up with the specialization only in 1 or 2 domains , Normally if that is what you want to do , then 1 year course should be good enough .
Yes if you want to master maximum domains in the animation pipeline , then surely i suggest one to go for the 3 years course . But suggestion : Make sure you don't stop your practice at the end of your completion of classes in any particular subject , instead keep practising and master that domain, thus you can be more more stable in any company also the scope for job will increase by more than double .
So definitely a 3 year course is valuable , but it also depend on you how do you utilise it.
