Ritu,
If you have not take the entrance test for law then go for some good private universities like LPU, SNU, AISECT, etc., where you can get admission either on the basis of your marks in previous qualifying exam or tests conducted by these universities only.
All these universities have earned a good name for themselves; have good infrastructure, faculty and placements. Some of them even off scholarships to meritorious students.
Check their websites for more details and fulfil your dream of a career in Law.

In DTU lateral entry, you only get admission into some branch which is not good at all like BT, EP, MAM, PCT, etc. And placement is very poor in this branches, so it's a wastage of time & money.
The best branches are already full so no one misses a seat in that like CE, ME, EE, SE, IT, ECE and civil.
