The Journal of Applied Science & Engineering Technology or JASET is an open access, double bind, peer-reviewed journal for the dissemination of use-inspired basic research, applied research and applied technical scholarship. Topics are in the combined domain of engineering, technology and applied Science and primarily focus on solving technical problems in the spirit of the Scholarship of Application. In summary, JASET disseminates results from research seeking to extend the frontiers of understanding with considerations of use and the application of technical knowledge to consequential problems. Applied scholarship is welcome from academia, industry and government agencies.

It is a 3 years long under-graduate program. Students may pursue this program after completing their 12th Science stream schooling from a recognized board. As the name suggests, this program revolves around the field of Information Technology. B.Sc. IT course, on many fronts, is similar to IT Engineering program also!
Basically, Information Technology, and thus B.Sc. IT, is all about storing, processing, securing and managing Information. Information Databases, Networks, software development & testing and programming etc are some of the very important topics that one will come across in this B.Sc. program.
