Nothing wrong in doing MCA if you wish to go for IT and application. Of you are willing for Data Science Technology then you may go for, M.Sc. In Statistics or Data Science. As your percentile are low, so there is less possibility that you get a good engineering college. So, you can apply any private college or if you want a good college, then you should again prepare for JEE.
